New district captain Christian Pehof takes over in Baden!

Baden, Österreich - Mag. Christian Pehofer was appointed the new district captain of Baden. This decision was made at the NÖ State Government meeting and comes into force with immediate effect. Pehofer follows Mag. Verena Sonnleitner, who has been the function of the State Office Director deputy since March 2023. The handover of the office is in a significant context, since Sonnleitner, who has been a district chief in Baden since April 2018, has had a successful term.

Christian Pehofer, born in 1980, studied law at the University of Linz. He started his professional career in the state service in 2004 as a construction technician in the State Road Planning department. In the following years he took various important positions, including as a specialist area head of the investment right to the district administration Waidhofen/Thaya and as head of the security and order in Krems. Before his current appointment, Pehofer was deputy deputy in Scheibbs and St. Pölten and took over the management of the district administration Gmünd on March 1, 2023

The transition in the Baden district administration

The handover of the office is officially held on April 4, 2018 when Verena Sonnleitner will be presented as the new district chief.
