Österreich - The Austrian Post presented two innovative packaging systems on June 5, 2025, which are intended to revolutionize sustainable package shipping in Austria. The Post Loop bottle package replaces the previous wine package and enables the shipping of different liquids such as wine, carbonated drinks, spirits, oils and vinegar-with the exception of fermenting liquids. The packaging is available in sizes for 1, 2, 3, 6, 12 and 18 bottles and consists of a double -layer recycling box that optimally protects the content and enables empty bottles. The packaging can go through up to three rounds, which underlines their sustainability.

This redesigned product offers a compact insulating box that corresponds to the gastronorm standard (GN 1/2). With an additional overcarton that protects the insulating box, the service life is extended. The thermalization of the boxes does not require a sealing and enables the use of existing or own frenzy. In addition, the boxes in gastro cleaning machines can be easily washed and disinfected.
