New parking regulations in the SCS: 4 hours free of charge from April!
From April 14, 2025, there will be significant changes to the parking regulations in the Shopping City Süd (SCS) in Vösendorf, Mödling district. As the operator announced, customers can only park in the outer parking spaces for four hours from this date. If you want to stay longer, you have to pay a fee of 2.50 euros per hour. The parking garage will be charged from the first minute, but Westfield Club members still have the opportunity to park up to two hours free of charge by scanning their club area code at the terminal. This was announced because more and more permanent parkers held the parking spaces, which led to an oversupply, especially on weekends and at shopping times.
easier parking process
The new regulations also include simpler payment. The fees can now be paid at the terminals on site or via the BMOVE app, which enables users an uncomplicated processing. If customers stay below the free parking time of four hours, they can leave the site without additional payment. The parking regulations also provide for a maternity leave of 30 minutes between payment and exit, which offers visitors a little more flexibility. These changes are presented as part of the efforts to make the parking lot more efficient in order to avoid closer times and to improve the shopping experience for all visitors, according to the operators in detail.
