Liensberger fights bravely: Fifth place in the Slalom final in the season!
At the final slalom final in Sun Valley, the Austrian ski team has again experienced an exciting competition. Katharina Liensberger secured the best results for the domestic skiers with a fifth place in the race, while Zrinka Ljutic from Croatia won the title with tenth place. Before the final, Ljutic had 32 points ahead of Liensberger, who could no longer catch up with it.
Mikaela Shiffrin crowned the end of the season with her 101st World Cup victory and relegated Lena Dürr and Andreja Slokar. Shiffrin, who missed four races for injuries in the season, showed up in excellent form despite the setbacks. She won with a lead of 1.13 seconds on Dürr and 1.14 seconds on Slokar.

Katharina Huber took twelfth place in the final, while the Åre winner, Katharina Treuppe, was out due to difficulties in the course of the race.
