Karl Nehammer: Withdrawal from politics - new ways with family and dog!

Österreich - The assigned Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer made an emotional posting aware of Instagram. In a picture that shows him together with his wife and her dog in front of a picturesque mountain landscape, Nehammer shows deeply: "Genial time with family and dear friends," he reports. The reason for Nehammer's change of course is in the failed attempt to form a government after his ÖVP had fallen behind the FPÖ in the last elections. With 26.3 percent of the votes, the ÖVP became only the second strongest force, which caused Nehammer to announce his resignation both as party leader and as a chancellor. Now he plans to give up his mandate in the National Council. This decision is expected to be officially announced until the next meeting of the National Council on January 22, as Zeit.de

In the political landscape of Austria, however, a new coalition could began. The FPÖ boss Herbert Kickl is looking for a collaboration with the ÖVP, which Nehammer had rejected.
