Bad Kleinkirchheim, Österreich - On May 27, 2025, the job day of the ARGE Best Employer Destination took place in Bad Kleinkirchheim, in which around 220 students from five middle schools took part. This event was initiated as part of the leader project "Satisfied employees in an attractive region" in order to show young people training paths and career opportunities in the tourism industry. State Secretary Elisabeth Zehetner and Mayor Michael Maier kept greeting, who brought the diversity and opportunities in the tourism sector closer to the young participants.

The students had the opportunity to visit various companies in Bad Kleinkirchheim as well as on Lake Millstatt and in the field on the lake. On site they experienced everyday hotel life up close and led a direct exchange with employees. Above all, the personal insights through a so-called apprentice talk, in which trainees reported on their experiences, were considered particularly valuable. The Talk was moderated by Caroline Schischeg, which informed the students about various tourism occupations.

This special offer made it possible for the young people to spend an evening in the hotel before they may immerse themselves in the world of work. The event was part of a project that aims to strengthen the employer brands and increase the attractiveness of the region for young talents.
