Rocktobernight: A festival of the rural youth Schiefling for the community

The rural youth Schiefling, a local community that has been active since 1982, is organizing its traditional rocktobernight on October 12th. This event takes place this year at the Schiefling sports field, where a large tent and a pavilion are set up to invite visitors to a convivial evening.

The group, which consists of 55 members and is managed by Julian Sorger, not only campaigns for community celebrations, but is also active in many areas of village life. The maiden manager Marie Bishop in particular emphasizes that the rural youth plays an important role in the design of customs and traditions. Actions such as the tying of harvest crowns or organizing Nikolaus campaigns make up a significant part of their work. In addition to the celebrations, they launched an outstanding project this year, in which they built a stone altar in the collman stoves that caused a lot of recognition.

community commitment

The rural youth is not just a party; She is also heavily involved in the community. Activities such as planting advent wreaths and participation in star singing campaigns show how important social responsibility is to you. The members are also actively represented in traditional Easter heap heating and carnival parades. This commitment was also visible in the new refreshment of the "Tat.Ort Jugend" project, which received a lot of praise and even brought in a prize in Carinthia.

Another aspect that the rural youth promotes is the further training of its members. They regularly take part in workshops that are offered by the rural youth Carinthia and all of Austria. This is part of their philosophy not only to rely on traditions, but also to promote personal development and team spirit.
