Family dispute in Carinthia: Baby and police officers injured
In the night from Wednesday to Thursday there was an unfortunate incident in a residential building in the Wolfsberg district, in which a baby that was only a few weeks old was injured. The dispute between a 51-year-old man and his 24-year-old partner broke out shortly after midnight. The background of the conflict is apparently in the man's late coming home in an obviously alcoholic state.
The argument escalated in my mandatory matters, in which both the parents and their baby kept in their arm suffered minor injuries. This situation was not only stressful for the family, but also led to an intervention by the police.

The police officers who arrived on site asked the man to an alkotest due to the suspicion that he had previously managed a vehicle. The 51-year-old refused to test and showed himself aggressive towards the officials from the start. This behavior finally led to his arrest.
When trying to escape the arrest, the man was stopped by the police. During the mission, two officials injured themselves slightly and then had to be treated on an outpatient basis in the clinic. After their treatment, however, they continued their service. The baby and the 24-year-old mother were also brought to the Klagenfurt Clinic to receive medical help.
The man who had not only injured his partner, but also himself and the baby in the argument, received a ban on entering and approaching. At the end of the investigative process, it is displayed due to assault and because of several administrative violations.
Such incidents throw a light on the challenges in family relationships and the dangers of alcohol abuse, especially in times of stress.
