Frühchen-Treff in Carinthia: Support for families in need!

In Austria, eight to nine percent of newborns are born too early every year. These premature babies and their families are often confronted with special challenges that require a high degree of support. In order to enable these children to start the best possible start, there are several initiatives in Carinthia. An important project is the premature attorney meeting, which has been taking place in Völkermarkt and Klagenfurt since the beginning of 2024. Here, parents, siblings and the small patients can exchange ideas and support each other in protected rooms. A central aspect of the premature attitudes is the emotional support of the parents. This is intended to strengthen families in their educational ability and support them in the development of new life perspectives.
