In Villach an exciting event is imminent: On November 29, 2024, the city center will wake up to life with over 1,000 disguised participants. This group, consisting of Perchten and Krampusen, ensures a colorful and lively atmosphere in the city. Over 50 groups of customs take part in the spectacle, which traditionally inspires more and more people.
The Krampus run begins at 6 p.m. in 10th Oktoberstraße and extends over the main square to Gerbergasse. The diversity of the participating groups is remarkable: While 15 groups from the Villach district set off, there are also seven from Styria, six from Salzburg and two groups from Lower Austria and South Tyrol. Even a delegation from Bavaria will enrich the celebrations.
