Attempted bank robbery in Villach: Police are looking for witnesses!
On Friday, the population in Villach-Pölkendorf was alerted by a strong police force. The reason for this was an attempted bank robbery that took place at 11:19 a.m. A masked man who was clad with white gloves entered the bank branch and apparently had hidden a dummy of bomb under his clothing.
The perpetrator put a note with threats and money claims on the counter and asked for cash in astonishingly good German. In order to support his demands, the man briefly showed the supposed bomb that was attached to his body. After a few minutes, during which it apparently took too long for him, the man fled out of the bench without prey and escaped in an unknown direction.
