The city of Villach faces a significant change in public transport. From December 15, 2024, a comprehensive timetable change will come into force, which significantly expands the operating times of public transport. This will offer passengers more flexibility and comfort, since the buses will drive from Monday to Friday from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m., which means an hour earlier and two hours later than before.

In addition, there will be additional services, such as a half-hour frequency for line 5a, the St. Martin and Lower Fellach serves. For the first time there will also be regular traffic on Sundays and public holidays for this and line 5b.
