The fascinating world of legends and myths again awakens Max Müller when “the legend hunter” returns after a successful first year to tell new exciting stories. This time the native Carinthian in the beautiful region around Villach, the Faaker See and the Ossiacher See. The shooting took place, among others, in Lattschach, a small community in Finkenstein, and in Afritz am See. Here old, almost forgotten legends come alive with a touch of mysticism and tension.

The first episode of the new season will be broadcast on October 26th. It deals with the legend of the gold pastor from Lattschach and promises an exciting story of a gold treasure, blackmail and a clever pastor - almost like a thriller. The shoot was given a special authenticity due to the active support of the villagers of Lattschach, which gives the episode additional charm. The second episode, which also plays in Afritz am See, is only broadcast in February 2025.

The managing director of the Villach tourism region, Georg Overs, is happy about the new cooperation with the film company Alphavision. He emphasizes: "Old legends experience a revival, and at the same time our wonderful region is brought closer to a wide audience." The support from the local communities and the Carinthia Film Commission was crucial for the success of this production, which aims to arouse interest in regional stories and to strengthen cultural identity.

"The Sagen Hunter" is not only an entertaining format, but also a contribution to the preservation and distribution of regional stories, which are often passed on from Generation to generation. Spectators can look forward to exciting stories and breathtaking landscapes that will be shown in every episode.
