Big crowd at the MaturaBall: Villach celebrates unforgettable night!

Last evening, a spectacular Matura ball of the CHS Villach took place in the Villach Congress Center. Under the motto "Time for Departure", 136 Maturants celebrated from seven Matura and a final class. This event attracted over 2000 guests, and the ball was sold out ten hours after the start of the pre -sale. "We were overwhelmed by the demand," said ball boss Barbara Stingl.

The planning and organization of the ball was a joint project of the school and the parents' association, with Martin Zankl at the top. This well -rehearsed group of organizers was the key to a successful evening, which was characterized by many creative ideas. When entering the ball, there was no ordinary red carpet, but one that reminded of a runway, which underlined the aviation topic and immediately brought the guests in the mood.

an unforgettable evening

The ball itself was celebrated in the Josef-Resch hall of the Congress Center. Before that, the guests were able to explore the event at various gates. So the visitors had the opportunity to try their luck in the lucky port or to listen to the lively sounds of the disco in the CCV restaurant. In addition to the dance floor, there are numerous topics in the entire building that loosened up the ambience and created a festive mood.

The ceremonial opening of the ball took over director Petra Mayer in the presence of well-known representatives such as LR Beate Prettner, city councilor Christian Pober and municipal council Christopher Slug-Lindner. The Maturants impressed the audience with a beautiful polonaise, which was rehearsed under the direction of dance expert Babsi Koitz. This striking performance was only the prelude to an evening full of music and dance.

The band Major 7 provided the musical accompaniment in the main hall, while in the Gottfried-von-Eine-Hael DJ Gerry and the duo "The Silvertones" provided additional entertainment. The mood in the hall left little to be desired, and the disco was also a popular attraction where DJ Churcher made the dance floor shake.

A special highlight of the evening was the midnight insert. This was choreographed by the students themselves, which in particular put the connection and commitment of the Maturants in the foreground. The overall line was in the hands of the dance expert Karin Hasslauer, who was at your side with her experience. Even if the evening was characterized by a party mood, the big step in a new phase of life was clearly shown in the speeches and performances.

The enthusiasm and the pride of the young people were clearly felt when they celebrated the ball as one of the first major events after graduation. The Matura ball of the CHS Villach was not only a nice party, but also a real departure into a new phase of life.
