Kärntner trade in focus: the winners of the first LG, Melanie - Awards

The "LG, Melanie - Award of the 318s" took place for the first time and offered an exciting stage for creative companies from Carinthia. Organized by the committee for shipping, Internet and general trade in the Carinthia Chamber of Commerce, the competition was launched to honor companies that shape the trade of the future with innovative ideas. The chairwoman of the state committee, Heike Hack, commented: "Those who are brave enough to cut old braids comes here."

The submissions were diverse and stimulated the imagination, which is possible in the Carinthian trade world. The number "318" plays a special role and refers to the committee itself, which was only known to a few. Six companies reached the final, and the best projects were awarded yesterday evening. The particularly creative atmosphere was celebrated with a lot of applause and award ceremonies. "We are proud of our members," emphasized Hack.

The radiant winners

The company Fuzz, which is run by Markus Fritz from Keutschach, landed in first place. His hand-made slippers made of natural merino virgin wool provide warm feet and were awarded the "Melanie in Gold" and 6,000 euros for outdoor advertising, sponsored by PSG Poster Service GmbH.

second place took the Klagenfurter Catrin Ferrari Brunnenfeld with her cookingcatrin food & lifestyle GmbH. Her latest cookbook "Hadn" emphasizes regional ingredients and shows how versatile buckwheat can be used in modern kitchen. She received the "Melanie in Silver" and an advertising budget of 4,000 euros for an image video and online advertising, generously supported by Easyplusmedia OG.

Third place went to Christina Brandstätter from the Turracher Höhe. With her aesthetic and sustainable home accessories from Swiss stone pine, she delights under the name "Zirbelle". For her innovation she was honored with the "Melanie in Bronze" and an advertising budget of 2,000 euros for print and digital advertising, sponsored by regional media Carinthia.

Heike Hack also spoke about the generous support of the sponsors who have doubled their prize money at short notice. This support made it possible for the winners to benefit considerably. "The 'LG, Melanie - Award' proves that our committee is full of creative minds. We are looking forward to the next edition," Hack Castle. The competition is proof that there is a lot of creative potential in Carinthia that needs to be promoted and has opened the stage for many innovative ideas.
