On Saturday at 2.30 p.m. there was a spectacular traffic accident on Wellersdorfer Straße (L106) near Ludmannsdorf in the Klagenfurt-Land district. A 58-year-old man was traveling from Feistritz in the Rosental in the direction of Wellersdorf with his car from Feistritz when he got right onto the road bank for unexplained reasons. As a result, he lost control of the vehicle and drove straight into a meadow. However, the car did not stay calm for long: Instead of turning around on the meadow, the driver continued his journey and overlooked the edge of about one meter deep to the municipal road.

The vehicle tipped over the street due to the impact and had to accept a violent blow. All airbags in the car were triggered and the front and underside of the car were significantly damaged. The driver suffered minor injuries, but refused to be taken to a hospital. An alcovort test showed that it was not under alcohol, as far as the cause of the accident is concerned, remains unclear how reports.
