On May 30, 2025, a nationwide focus on alcohol and drugs at the wheel took place in Carinthia, organized by the Carinthia State Transport Department. In the course of this, numerous driver's licenses were removed.

In particular, 16 drivers lost their driver's license due to alcohol at the wheel. In addition, three other drivers had to answer to the influence of drugs. There were also minor alcohol insicatations for five drivers, which indicates a variety of violations of the Road Traffic Regulations (StVO) and the Driving Act (KFG).
