Festive advent calendar enchants school and kindergarten!

In the contemplative pre-Christmas period, the creative minds of the VS Kötschach-Mauthen have created a fascinating surprise for young and old. As Klick Carärnten reports, a festive advent calendar was opened on the windows of the school building and the kindergarten on December 4. Every evening a window is revealed that is decorated with lovingly designed pictures that symbolize the anticipation for Christmas. These festive representations, from bright candles to happy Santa Clauses, transform the school building into a radiant work of art and contribute to the mood of the Advent.

In addition, church institutions in the region plan numerous events to make the Christmas season special. According to parish of the parishes, activities take place that address both children and adults. On December 20, for example, there will be opportunities to individually design Christmas at home. The Swiss Bishops' Conference provides helpful materials and suggestions.
