Volunteer fire brigade Waiern is planning new fire brigade ball in Feldkirchen
The Volunteer Fire Brigade Waiern has made new plans for the cancellation of the popular sea festival on Lake Flatschacher, which will no longer take place this year. The reason for the hiring of this traditional event were inadequate personnel resources as well as numerous official requirements that would have made the festival more complicated
But instead of resting on the laurels, the team around Commandant Thomas Puschitz has already considered a new event: On Saturday, February 8th, a fire brigade ball will take place in the city hall of Feldkirchen. "We have had the idea for 20 years, but now we have decided to just try it - hopp or top," said Puschitz optimistically about the upcoming event.
less effort, more options
Compared to the Seefest, the new ball will require significantly less logistics. "The entire infrastructure is available in the city hall, so that we may only need 20 helpers. We also have support from the marketing team," said the commander. There will be no typical polonaise dancing, but Puschitz announces a surprise for midnight. Ticket sales should begin shortly and there will be both seat cards and normal tickets. He says of the dress code that the fire brigade members can appear either in the uniform or in a festive wardrobe. There will also be a disco and the young Wernberger will provide musical entertainment.
The return of the lake festival has not yet been determined despite the difficulties. Puschitz continues to try to motivate his team for the future implementation of the event. "The comrades' opinions are different. But who knows what the future brings, maybe there is a surprising turn," he adds promising. The fire brigade Waiern thus shows its entrepreneurial spirit and the willingness to break new ground.
