Fire in Feldkirchen: Brave women save dog from burning house!
Feldkirchen, Österreich - On December 3, 2024, there were two dramatic fire incidents in Feldkirchen. First, a 32-year-old woman discovered a fire in her house on the ground floor around 10:30 p.m. Together with her mother, she fled outside and informed a neighbor, who then alerted the fire brigade. Around 40 firefighters from three weirs were quickly on hand and were able to successfully contain the fire. They even saved the dog that was in the house. The building is no longer habitable due to the risk of colligree in a filigree ceiling. The exact amount of property damage is still unknown, and the investigation into the cause of the fire continues to run, such as fireworld.at
But that was not the only incident that day. An 80-year-old man had already handled in the basement of his house with a smoker at 6 p.m. When his partner heard a loud sound around 7:00 p.m., she discovered dense smoke that came out of the basement. The man tried to extinguish the fire that had ignited when the smoker was heated, but that was not enough. The fire brigade, especially the volunteer fire departments from Feldkirchen and Poitschach, came to help with four vehicles and 25 emergency services. They were able to get the smoker out of the basement and ventilate the premises. Here, too, the cause of the fire and the amount of damage are still unknown, as meinbezirk.at reported.
