Carnival club Feldkirchen heralds the foolish time with jubilation

The annual carnival purposes in Feldkirchen celebrated a special start in the foolish period on Saturday, November 16. The city government, under the direction of Mayor Martin Treffner, handed over the symbolic city key to the Feldkirchner carnival club. This event marks the beginning of a festive season that the residents of Feldkirchen always expect with anticipation.

But in addition to this solemn opening, the club looks at some drastic changes. While the prince couple of the past year, Princess Elisabeth the first and Prince Aurelius, were officially adopted, the board proudly presented the new couple of children: their loveliness Princess Anna Zahira Ndiaye and Schalkus XIV (Marcel Stocklauser). The two will lead the cheerful mood of next year.

cancellation of the carnival sessions

In the middle of the celebrations, the board of the Feldkirchner carnival club unfortunately had to announce the cancellation of the carnival sessions for 2025. "This decision was not easy for us, but several key players in our program need a creative break for professional reasons," said Peter Kowal, President of the Association. Among them are well -known faces such as Elena Malle and Walter Spitzer, whose contributions are indispensable for the events.

This break also seems to be a strategic decision. The board plans to start again in 2026, the anniversary year. "This is a milestone for our club, as we will celebrate our 50th anniversary," added Kowal. The preparations for this special event promise many exciting surprises for carnival friends. The highlights in the next season will be the children's masked ball in the city hall on March 2, 2025 and the large carnival parade through the city center on March 4, 2025.

The planning for the future and the hope of a resounding restart in two years make it clear that the Feldkirchner carnival club looks optimistic about the future despite the current challenges. The anticipation for a big festival in 2026 could weld the residents of Feldkirchen even closer together and let the traditional event shine in new splendor.
