Hofer brings in a rescue: new products for less food waste!
HOFER, Österreich - From May 30, 2025, Hofer will give an extended product range from the sustainable own brand, which focuses on saved foods. This initiative is intended to help use excess products from agriculture and production and thus make a contribution to reducing food waste. Hofer, known for his environmentally conscious measures, introduces the new products in cooperation with the organization "failed", which has already saved over 1,000 tons of food that does not meet the common standards. [5min] reports that the new products also support the trend towards conscious nutrition and like an enjoyable second opportunity for food.
Needs include various bowls, such as vegetable or currybowls, as well as innovative spreads that are offered in different flavors. Caramelized onions and Jalapeños also expand the range. The products are not only characterized by their pricing, but also contain rescued main ingredients, which pursues Hofer his sustainable approach. The new range in detail
