Historical avenue in Frankenmarkt: A green treasure awakens again!

The historical avenue near Mühlberg in the municipality of Frankenmarkt is brought back to life thanks to the dedicated pensioner Gertrude Pillichhammer. After the once important avenue, which was mentioned in historical records in 1521, had disappeared through land consolidation measures in the 1960s, Pillichhammer had 15 domestic tree species along the old path.
