Great reception for the new fire engine in Mooslandl!

Last Friday, May 9, 2025, a large reception ceremony for the new emergency vehicle BLF-C was held in the Mooslandl armory in the municipality of Landl. This vehicle, which was built up by the Kofler vehicle construction company in Lana near Merano/South Tyrol, marks significant progress in the equipment of the local fire brigade. HBI Klaus Bösendorfer, Obi Andreas Aster and Olm Walter Ritt, delivered the vehicle to Mooslandl after an eight -hour trip, where it was solemnly received by the comrades of the Mooslandl volunteer fire brigade as well as Mayor Moser and numerous members of neighboring weirs.

After the assessment of the new BLF-C, a sociable get-together took place, in which grill sausages and cold drinks were offered. The State Fire Brigade Association Styria gave the vehicle to the fire service on Thursday, May 15, 2025, without complaints, which ensured a smooth start to the company.

The technical equipment of the BLF-C Mooslandl is remarkable. The vehicle is based on a Hilux Toyota with a 3.5t chassis. It is able to cope with different use scenarios, equipped with a technology container that includes an emergency power generator, lighting, a diving pump and tools. In addition, the vehicle includes a hose container, which is equipped with a 400-meter B-hose on an electric hose harness as well as additional 8 B hoses, distributors, spherical taps and hose bridges.

The schooling of all comrades began on Friday, May 16, 2025, and also included the removal of the old KLF-A, which was decommissioned. The official commissioning of the new BLF-C also took place on May 16 with a siren test at 12:00 p.m.
