Cruel torture: reports about hostages in the hands of Hamas shock!
In a shattering report by the Israeli Ministry of Health, which was sent to the UN special rapporteur for torture, Alice Jill Edwards, the cruel torture practices are described, to which Israeli hostages in the violence of Hamas are exposed to in the Gaza Strip. Minister of Health Uriel Busso described the incidents as "cruel violence, psychological abuse, physical agony and acts that avoid any imagination." The report is based on the medical knowledge of doctors who have treated over 100 hostages who have been freed or released. Among the victims are men, women and children who were all exposed to a wide variety of forms of physical, mental and sexual violence, such as Kleine Zeitung reported.
The hostages suffered massive abuse, for example through strokes, isolation, hunger and sleep deprivation. They were often denied basic food and water resources or they were held trapped in the most brutal hygienic conditions. In addition, women suffered sexual assault in particular, had to move out in front of their tormentors and exposed to torture touch. "The medical and psychosocial teams assume that substantial means and tailor -made therapies are necessary in order to accomplish the rehabilitation and reintegration of the returned hostages," was emphasized by the doctors
public pressure and negotiations
Again, in Tel Aviv, more than 1,000 people demanded the release of Israeli hostages from the violence of Hamas. The demonstrators urged urgently urgent measures to solve the tragic situation and to end the continued conflict. The months of negotiations on a possible hostage deal and the end of the war have so far remained without successful results, such as reported.
