Gigi D'Agostino is coming! Austria concerts 2026 already in advance sale!

Gigi D'Agostino, the legendary Italian DJ and music producer, is planning a return to Austria with concerts in 2026. After the successful tours in 2024 and 2025, during which D'Agostino performed in sold-out halls in cities such as Graz, Vienna, Klagenfurt, Dornbirn and Salzburg, fans can look forward to two new dates. On June 3, 2026 he will perform at the Olympiahalle Innsbruck, followed by a concert on June 5, 2026 at the TipsArena Linz. Both events start at 9:00 p.m., with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. Tickets for these concerts will be available from April 29, 2025 at 11 a.m., both in all Ö-Ticket ticket offices and online www.oeticket.com and www.semtainment.at.

D'Agostino, who was born in Turin, began his musical career as a DJ at the Woodstock club and quickly became one of the most prominent names in the Italian music scene. From 1993 to 1998 he was known as a resident DJ at Ultimo Impero and quickly gained attention with his first release “Noise Maker Theme”. He is considered a pioneer of “Mediterranean Progressive Dance,” a genre that combines minimalist sounds and Latin American melodies. Successful singles such as “Bla Bla Bla”, “L’Amour Toujours” and “The Riddle” have shaped his career and sold millions of copies.

Successful career and influence

Gigi D’Agostino’s musical journey is marked by numerous successes. His 1996 hit “FLY” catapulted him to the top of the sales charts in Italy, followed by his self-titled debut album, which sold over 60,000 copies. The album “L’Amour Toujours” (1999) went platinum and made him an international star. His ability to transform disco tunes into mainstream successes and to collaborate with artists such as Daniele Gas and Mauro Picotto has earned him numerous awards, including the title of Best Producer at the Italian Dance Awards in 1999.

D’Agostino’s style has evolved over the years. While he initially relied heavily on electronic beats, he increasingly integrated melodic elements and different genres into his music. His influence extends beyond Europe and he has played at famous clubs such as the Ministry of Sound in London. A notable feature of his music is its connection to various subcultures, which has also attracted international attention in recent years.

Programs and Awards

From 2005 to 2010, D'Agostino hosted radio programs on m2o, further cementing his presence in the music world. Another highlight was the release of his compilation “Euro Dance”, which was certified platinum in 2004. In recent years he has also made a name for younger generations with new projects and collaborations, such as his collaboration with Dynoro on the hit “In My Mind”. Overall, D'Agostino remains a central figure in the electronic music scene, whose influence is still felt today.
