Gewessler calls up the turn: Greens against demolition excavators policy!

Innsbruck, Österreich - Leonore Gewessler, the designated Greens Federal Proterer, has had a clear criticism of the current government at the State Assembly of the Tyrolean Greens in Innsbruck. During the meeting, which took place in the "House of Encounter", she described the coalition of the ÖVP, SPÖ and NEOS as "future -proof" and compared its policy with a "demolition excavator". Gewessler spoke in front of around 100 active members and received great applause for this, while she denounced the government for cuts in family allowances for single parents and for the insufficient savings in other areas.

She questioned the responsibility of the ÖVP, which has been about the finance minister for 25 years, and also criticized the SPÖ for its redistribution policy. According to Gewessler, it is time for the Greens to go closer to people again and take their concerns seriously. In doing so, she admitted her party from the past to listen too little.
