The choice of plant-based products has a significant influence on the entire CO2 balance. For example, only 2 of the 100 calories that have been fed to the animal, which underlines the inefficiency of meat production, can be recovered with beef. These energy losses and agricultural areas needed for animal husbandry make a plant -based diet significantly more resource -saving.
