On May 16, 2025 at 9 a.m., the patrol patrol hazardous goods checked a saddle tank in the parking lot of the former motorway customs office on the A14 near Hörbranz. Serious deficiencies were found during the check that were an immediate danger to traffic safety. The vehicle was marked with two additional boards for "environmentally hazardous substances", but the labeling did not meet the legal requirements. In particular, the orange plates that are required in accordance with the ADR regulations were missing.

The driver of the vehicle also had no valid permission to transport dangerous goods and he lacked the necessary specialist knowledge in order to meet the requirements for the transport of dangerous goods. After completing the necessary measures, the driver was able to continue his journey towards Bosnia and Herzegovina.
