GAIA-X: Digital future for Europe and Korea in data space protection!

Berlin, Deutschland - On June 5, 2025, the International Digital Security Forum (IDSF) took place a significant discussion under the title "The Next Generation of Trusted Data Sharing (Gaia-X)". The event was led by Roland Fadrany, the COO of the GAIA X Initiative. Experts from Europe and Asia came together to discuss the role of sovereign data rooms for the digital economy. Insuk Kim also emphasizes the economic cooperation between Korea and Europe, which is funded by Gaia-X.

• Marispace-X -focused on maritime sectors by developing an intelligent maritime data space.

Overall, numerous consortia are currently in the starting blocks under the slogan of Gaia-X to develop effective solutions for current challenges in data processing.

According to a report by Fraunhofer Iese, users should be informed about the use of their data and can decide independently.
