The DAV will collect further information on the risks of mountain hiking as part of the “Gone” project. The survey, which was carried out in 2021, interviewed 1235 people and revealed a high degree of uncertainties. 82 % of the participants reported situations in which they slipped or stumbled, and 70 % were between 30 and 60 years old.
