Freedom economy demands determined relief for companies!

Niederösterreich, Österreich - On May 21, 2025, the freedom economy has moved into the new Lower Austrian business parliament as the second strongest force. State chairman Reinhard Langthaler emphasizes the urgency to provide the companies perspective, predictability and air for work. In the current economic situation, reference is made to a fork in the road that is characterized by increasing regulations, increasing stress and bureaucracy. The Freedom Economy demands noticeable, concrete and immediate relief for companies in order to be able to meet the challenges.

Langthaler criticizes the federal government sharply because too much talk and too little is implemented. Smaller and medium -sized companies suffer from a flood of regulations and bureaucratic hurdles. The demands of the free economy are clear: less bureaucracy, fair taxes, predictable energy costs and a practical education policy. The state chairman emphasizes that the chamber should courageously respond to the interests of the economy to support the people who work every day at the location.

economic policy agreements

The coalition agreement between the CDU/CSU and SPD focuses on renewing the promise of the social market economy. The aim of this agreement is to strengthen a competitive and growing economy and to promote social cohesion. A central element is a special fund for infrastructure that is supposed to create functioning structures. A de -bureaucratization of state services through simplifications in public procurement law and planning law is also planned.

Deregulation for companies, among other things through the suspension of the supply chain obligations law until the implementation of a European directive, should work entirely in the interests of the economy. In addition, flexibility from the Working Hours Act were promised in order to meet the requirements of the labor market. These developments are done against the background of rising energy prices, which are to be reduced by at least 5 cents per kWh in order to further secure competitiveness.

reduction in bureaucracy as a priority

In her initiatives,

EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has a clear focus on strengthening the competitiveness of Europe. The “compass for competitiveness” includes measures to reduce the gap in the innovation between Europe, the USA and China. The aim is to reduce strategic dependencies and to reconcile the decarbonization with competitiveness.

To make it easier to make it easier, a planned omnibus law is designed to reduce bureaucracy and administrative effort. The need is obvious: In a survey, 95% of the companies in the IHK company barometer stated that bureaucracy reduction was their top priority. In addition, various new strategies and laws, such as an internal market strategy and the EU Innovation Act, should further promote competitiveness in the coming months.

The current political orientation and the planned measures take a light on the challenges that companies stand in front of and illustrate the need for clear structures, less bureaucracy and realistic relief. In this context, the demands of the freedom economy could make a decisive contribution to improving the economic situation as a whole.
