Festival Pfinxt’n brings music and art to moths and Heidenreichstein!

Motten, Österreich - The long-awaited Pfinxt’n-Festival returns after two years from June 5th to 9th, 2025. The event will take place in the picturesque summer academy of Motten and in Heidenreichstein. Under the motto "Resurrection of the Spirit and Beauty", the festival offers a wealth of cultural contributions, including concerts, readings and exhibitions.

The festival's opening takes place on June 5 at 7.30 p.m. in Motten, where Paul Gulda and Marwan Abado will initiate the first tones with a fascinating combination of harpsichord and oud sounds. On June 6th, an Anna Mabo solo concert with the title "Thank you, good", which will also take place in moths at 7.30 p.m.

The program offers a variety of events organized in two main locations. On June 7th, the audience can experience an open-air concert with the Saxophone Quartet Even4sax on Heidenreichstein Stadtplatz, admission is free. In addition, visitors can enjoy a cello concerto by Asja Valcic with the performance "Inner Voice". The vernissage of the exhibition "I see red" by Karin Rupacher also takes place that day, which is open from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and on June 8 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. In the evening, the "poetic circle" in Burgstüberl invites you to hear texts by Rainer Maria Rilke and others.

On June 8th at 2:30 p.m. an organ concert entitled "Intermezzo Spiritual" in the parish church of Heidenreichstein will be listed, followed by a scenic reading of "The Sparkled Band" by Sherlock Holmes at 5 p.m. The Carinthian Quartet Klakradl, which occurs in moths at 7.30 p.m., offers the musical end of the evening.

The last festival day on June 9 offers a varied program with a special focus on fusion of cultures; The Ensemble Reflejos will present flamenco, oriental rhythms, rap and folk geke with its “Meandro” program. This event takes place in moths at 3 p.m.
