The users of Windows 10 and Windows 11 in Austria can look forward to significant changes, which are made by new EU requirements as part of the can be made possible. These regulations aim to oblige dominant technology companies to more fairness and offer their users alternative options.
A central element of these changes is to adapt the offers from large technology companies that are no longer able to grant their products a preferred position. These comprehensive changes are part of the continuous implementation of the DMA, which has gradually entered into force since 2023. Microsoft has already published reports on compliance with the new regulations. On 6.
