In the night of Friday, May 23, 2025, a newborn was born on the A14 motorway near Schlins in Vorarlberg in the passenger seat of a car. The expectant mother, a woman from the Bludenz district, felt the first contractions on the way to the nearby hospital in Feldkirch around 10:50 p.m. However, the course of birth turned out to be faster than expected, so that the company had to be interrupted abruptly.
