Europa-Park: Record visitors and innovations for the anniversary year 2025

The Europa-Park in Rust has big expectations for the upcoming year before the start of the winter season. Managing Director Roland Mack described the year 2024 as the "most successful year in the history of the European park". This optimistic assessment follows numerous new attractions and developments within the park.

In the winter press conference on Thursday, Ingo Dubinsky, moderator of the event, emphasized the diverse innovations of last year. Under the highlights, the opening of the new roller coaster Voltron Nevera and the Croatian theme area were 7.3 million visitors together with other attractions. Mack also emphasized that various infrastructure projects were invested, including a Welcome Center for employees and new office space. In addition, the Mack family celebrated another important event: Roland Mack's 75th birthday and the appointment of his daughter -in -law Miriam as the honorary consul of Croatia.

visitor records and new attractions

The new roller coaster Voltron Nevera stands out and was able to record three million guests alone. Together with the newly designed attractions in Austria - Tyrolean Wildwasserbahn and EnzianExpress - they have made a significant contribution to the record -breaking number of visitors. Overall, the park was able to increase the flow of visitors by five percent, which corresponds to 400,000 additional visitors.

The Water World Rulantica also shows gratifying figures after it initially had difficulties with the Corona restrictions. The Tonnevirvel attraction will be reopened on December 6th, and a new outdoor pool is currently being built to further improve the offer. Roland Mack also announced a promising investment on the grounds of the water park.

Sustainable improvements and anniversary celebrations

One of the large innovations is the renaming of the tipid village to Silver-Lake-City, which is equipped with improvements to facilities and increased restaurant capacity. From May a new restaurant is to expand the gastronomic diversity and intensify the "western feeling". In addition, the park plans a children's home for families that are faced with the cancer of a child.

A gala evening on July 11th is organized for the celebration of the 50th birthday of the European Park. Mack hopes to welcome the 150 millionth visitors in the anniversary year. Appropriately, the well -known artist DJ Bobo produced a song entitled "Celebrating Under the Stars".

With a clear commitment to quality and sustainability, the park management is planning a moderate price increase of five percent in the coming year, which is due to increased costs. Roland Mack warned the guests to understand this measure, however, assured that every remaining mark is reinvested into the park.

In addition, the Mack Rides company is not only involved in the Europa-Park, but also in the global amusement park area. Michael Mack commented on exciting future plans, including a first movie "Grand Prix of Europe", which was recently implemented. These initiatives reflect the entrepreneurial spirit and the innovative strength of the family dynasty.

The anticipation for the coming year is great and those responsible for the European Park are optimistic about the future. This positive mood stands out clearly from the general market situation and shows that the history of this amusement park remains exciting.
