Europa-Park in November: pumpkins, fir trees and silent rides

A visit to the Europa-Park, one of the best-known amusement parks in Germany, can be an exciting experience. On Tuesday, November 19, a shy amusement park newcomer explored this popular place in Rust. It was his first trip to an amusement park for years, perhaps even the first one, apart from childhood memories to the Ravensburger Spieleland.

The Europa-Park attracts more than 6 million visitors every year and offers over 100 different attractions. The impressive area is operated by almost 5000 employees who all aim to prepare the guests an unforgettable and entertaining day.

The weather plays crazy

But on this cold November day, the weather caused some unpleasant surprises. Strong winds forced the operators to take out numerous rides, including the newly opened roller coaster "Voltron". A weather warning for hurricane gusts in the Black Forest had made a standstill. Instead of dizzying trips, the newcomer could be enchanted by the winter atmosphere of the park with silver fir trees and pumpkins that fit at the season.

The atmosphere brought a healthy mix of Halloween and Christmas with it, and the motto "Hallowinter" gave the excursion a special touch. The newcomer sighed relieved that the big rides were not available. But might have been fun to face the challenge after he had completed the long journey from Ravensburg.

The events in the park show that many visitors deal differently with thrills. Often you can see how people who are hesitant in front of the attractions can finally be motivated to take part in the rides. This is a small but fine spectacle that gives the operators a lot of fun.

alternatives in the park

instead of "Voltron", the friends of the newcomer decided on other rides, and he decided to take a leisurely walk through the lovingly decorated park. Warmly wrapped in his winter coat, he preferred the winter decorations and the sweet delicacies in the different countries. In the French corner of the park, he got stuck at a tarte flambee, where he bought a classic tarte flambee with bacon for 9.80 euros. At first glance, it may look as if the price includes some additional costs for admission. Nevertheless, he found it in order and enjoyed his little snack.

Although the visitor is not a pronounced ride fan, the size and diversity of the European park have sustainably impressed him. The park has an entire concept that unites the different countries with typical decorations and kitchens and gives people the opportunity to lose themselves even if some of the rides do not work. Who knows, maybe the newcomer will take one or the other "test of courage" the next time you visit. More information about the experiences in the Europa-Park are to read .
