ÖVP Landes Managing Director Patrik Fazekas speaks about the direction of direction for Burgenland

In the course of the upcoming election campaign, the ÖVP in Burgenland raises its voice for change. Patrik Fazekas, state manager of the ÖVP, emphasizes the importance of this election as a fate decision for the state. He decidedly pronounces the path of the sole governing SPÖ and instead relies on a new approach with regional orientation and more freedom for the citizens of Burgenland.

The ÖVP plans a targeted and fair election campaign that will rely on both traditional and creative elements. Christian Sagartz, top candidate of the ÖVP, has already visited all 171 municipalities of Burgenland and personally met thousands of people.

Fazekas calls for fairness in the election campaign and criticizes the unequal use of the election campaign costs. The ÖVP will comply with the cost limit of 300,000 euros, while according to Fazekas almost twice as much for government propaganda, the SPÖ is financed by the taxpayer.

The declared aim of the ÖVP is to break the absolute majority of the SPÖ and to correct the supposed grievances of the past few years. Fazekas strives to reduce the distance to the SPÖ and hopes for a fair election result without prejudices about possible coalitions.

The upcoming election in Burgenland promises an exciting argument between the two major parties and will show in which direction the state will develop in the future.
