Successful respiratory protection tests: fire brigade Oberwart shines in bronze and silver!
On April 5, 2025, two successful respiratory protection tests (ALP) took place in the Oberwart, Burgenland, Burgenland. The event was organized by the district fire brigade command Oberwart and impressively showed the qualification and commitment of the participants. In the morning, 11 respiratory protection teams took part in the exam of the section I in Neustift on Lafnitz, including a squad from Styria. In the afternoon in Loipersdorf-Kitzladen, 7 more squads competed successfully to check the section IV.
All participating squads completed the exams with the desired badge in bronze or silver. The examiners and guests of honor were satisfied with the performance of the firefighters. The examination stations included various critical aspects of respiratory protection training, such as device science, disassembling and assembling the mask, answering specialist questions, changing breathing air bottles and practical use under respiratory protection.

Participants in the respiratory protection training have to meet some prerequisites, including bringing your emergency vehicle, breathing apparatus and a sufficient amount of reserve bottles.
The booking for respiratory protection training takes place using a form, the confirmation is usually carried out by the next working day.
