A kitchen adventure: pupil of the Pilgersdorf elementary school cooking with a hood chef

The Pilgersdorf elementary school recently turned into a lively cooking school when the renowned hood chef Hubert Fasching invited the students to a special culinary project. Under the committed motto "Cooking in the rhythm of nature", the children experienced an exciting kitchen adventure in which they not only learned the basics of culinary art, but also could develop their creative potential.

In an impressive workshop, the young cooks conjured up a tasty 5-course menu together with Mardi Gras. The real highlights included delicate potato chocolates with a dip, the special Hokkaido soup, stylishly served in hollowed -out pumpkins, and the saturatory sweet potato puree. Even hearty potato dumplings with ham and juice were not missing, rounded off with a traditional apple strudel, the dough of which prepared the students themselves.

immersion in the world of flavors

A newly furnished juice bar turned out to be a special highlight. Here the children had the opportunity to press fresh apple-carrot juice themselves-an experience that not only gave them fun, but also stimulated their sense of taste. At the fruit and vegetable stand, the young chefs were able to try different types and explore their preferences.

"It was fantastic to see how much joy and commitment the children were with," said Hubert Fasching. Together with aprons around the hips and radiant faces, the students worked hand in hand. For many of them, this experience revealed the real value and the magic of food preparation.

The event turned out to be an unforgettable day and proved that culinary delights, awareness of nature and community activities can be brought together in a delicious way. The project "Cooking in the Rhythm of Nature" left lasting impressions with the children and promoted a special view of the food and their preparation.

As part of this enriching experience, it is no wonder that the event was always a topic of conversation in the following days. So it is to be hoped that the children will not only be inspired for the moment, but sustainably and maybe soon swing the wooden spoons themselves.
