97 Starting in 18 months: Women lead self -employment!
At a press conference in Deutschkreutz, impressive results of the company's start -up program of the AMS Burgenland were announced. Within only 18 months, 97 people dared to jump into self -employment, with almost half of these founders being women. The support of the AMS was a decisive factor for many to get into a successful entrepreneurial future from unemployment.
The AMS start-up program offers people the opportunity to implement their business idea with professional advice and financial help. "We secure a successful start through individual advice," said Karin Steiner, the deputy state manager of the AMS Burgenland.
accompaniment by experts
The first steps to self -employment are also supported by Prof. Sonnleitner GmbH. This accompanies the founders on their way and helps to put their company ideas into practice. Prof. Doz. Ernst K. Sonnleitner emphasizes the important role of this cooperation: "Together we realize your company ideas."
The variety of new companies that were created as part of this program is particularly impressive. Four entrepreneurs from Deutschkreutz show how different the foundations are: Heike Reinfeld offers a combination of children's yoga and yoga accessories, while Mag. Alexandra Furthner advises in marketing. Janka Koen is responsible for creative visual design projects and Lara Rosta takes care of animal care and dog training. Everyone emphasizes that professional advice from the AMS has made it easier to get started.
successful record for the company
In the period from 2023 to mid -2024, a total of 338 potential company founders were advised, of which 104 finally started their own company. Personal services were particularly popular, followed by craft and technical services.
Most of the new companies were built in Northern Burgenland, especially in the Eisenstadt district with 19 and Neusiedl with 17 foundations. It is striking that the foundations of women mainly focus on personal services and creative industries, while men chose technical and craft professions more often.
The AMS Burgenland sees the positive results as confirmation of the relevance of his program and plans to continue to support people on their way to independence. These developments are not only a sign of entrepreneurial courage, but also hope for economic growth in Burgenland.
