New row house project in Gols: 24 units for affordable living space
in the heart of Gols, directly at the entrance to the town, a new row house project is realized by the "new Eisenstadt". A total of 24 residential units in the form of double houses are to be built here. The groundbreaking ceremony for four of these row houses took place on Tuesday, which marks the official start of the construction project.
The site comprises an area of 4,285 square meters, on which six houses have already been completed. Some of these have already been handed over to new owners. Now it continues with another construction stage, which will also create four row houses. At the groundbreaking ceremony, general contractors, builders, architects and representatives of the community were present.
Details about the project
The new Eisenstadt residents have been involved in the Gols market town since 2012. Managing Director Bernd Gerdenitsch noticed during the groundbreaking ceremony: "So far we have been able to implement 34 apartments and 16 row houses in Gols." The company plans to strengthen the local construction industry with an investment volume of around 1.6 million euros. For the construction project, the planning of the architecture firm Kandelsdorfer ZT from Neusiedl, while the implementation is taken over by the Gartner-Schiener BauGmbH from Halbturn.
After completion, each house will have a living space of around 110 square meters available. The heating supply takes place via an air-water heat pump, and photovoltaic systems (PV systems) are planned on the roofs of the houses. A special specialty is that all units will also be equipped with a basement, which creates additional storage space. "Affect and modern living space is created here," Mayor Kilian Brandstätter confirmed. The second construction stage should be completed by the end of 2025, which Gols promises significant progress not only in structural development, but also with regard to future living space.
