AAA flight school celebrates the record year: a success for the Neusiedl region
The Aviation Academy Austria (AAA) has made remarkable progress in recent years and looks back on an economically successful year. Through strategic investments, in particular through the participation of Athena Burgenland, the company awaits the highest operating result in its history in 2024.
This positive development goes back to support from the state of Burgenland, which has contributed significantly to the stability and growth of the AAA. Governor Hans Peter Doskozil emphasizes that this funding is a promising investment in innovative projects in the long term. According to him, AAA combines education and innovation and plays a crucial role in international pilot training.
a center of pilot training
founded in 2004 by pilots, the AAA in Neusiedl am See has developed into one of the most respected flight schools in Europe. The training center is equipped with five state-of-the-art “full flight simulators” and offers training opportunities around the clock, 362 days a year. In addition, two other simulators are being planned and the company has acquired an additional property for future expansion.
As the largest flight school in Austria, the AAA trains around 200 flight students a year. In addition to training the offspring, the Academy attaches great importance to further training experienced professional pilots. Company spokesman Claus Rhomberg emphasizes that the constantly growing interest in pilots worldwide and the excellent reputation of the Academy contribute to the positive development of the company.
Not only the AAA itself, but also the region benefits from this success. Part of the profits flows to the Landesholding and local companies also generate sales through the approximately 5,000 overnight stays of their customers annually. Every new simulator creates new jobs and strengthens the cooperation with regional service providers.
The AAA's journey started in 2004 with the purchase of a first modern simulator. Since then, the number of employees has grown to around 40. In addition to the comprehensive training measures on 13 single and two-engine aircraft, the Academy also offers training on real simulators in order to meet the different requirements of the aviation industry.
The participation of the regional investor Athena Burgenland granted the AAA a solid financial basis in the early years. This risk capital fund not only supports between 200,000 euros and 2.5 million euros through investments, but also offers valuable help in the areas of strategic development and financial management. The AAA is not only a pioneer in flight training, but also an example of how regional cooperation can achieve great success.
The future of the Aviation Academy Austria looks promising, and ongoing expansions are a sign that the company continues to grow and want to offer future -oriented training opportunities for the aviation sector. You can find more information on this on KURIER.AT .
