Support for the animal protection house Sonnenhof: Food and future for animals
In a spacious gesture, the managing directors of Austria Pet Food, Bernd Berghofer and Andreas Obermayr, once again expressed their support for the animal protection house Sonnenhof. The donation includes both financial means and food for the animals. This initiative is not only a sign of solidarity, but also a contribution to the important work that the Association of State Animal Protection Burgenland makes.
The animal protection house Sonnenhof in Eisenstadt is currently home to around 120 cats, 60 dogs and some small animals. Many of these animals have been saved from different difficult situations, including suspensions or taxes by people who could no longer hold them. The head of the animal protection house, Wolfgang Böck, and his committed team do everything to offer animals the best possible life in their temporary accommodation, with the aim of conveying them in loving new home as quickly as possible.
The challenges for the animals
The young and often traumatized dog puppies, who often come from illegal puppy trade, are particularly worrying. Böck commented: "You have not learned to climb, nor to go on different surfaces or to overcome bumps." These dogs need special support to prepare for a life in society.to help the puppy, a dog course has been set up where you can learn with a dog trainer in safe and beneficial conditions. The support of Austria Pet Food is crucial to enable these training options and ensure that the animals learn the necessary skills for a future home.
"We from Austria Pet Food are happy to be able to help with financial support and animal feed donation," said Berghofer and Obermayr. This type of help and sustainable is not only increasing the quality of life of the animals, but also the chance of a successful mediation.
