Lukas Lehninger: A barrier -free home through local support

The ÖVP women Marz have again devoted themselves to an important charity this year. In the contemplative pre -Christmas period, they traditionally support projects that help families. This time the help of the Lehninger family, whose son Lukas suffers from a muscle disease and therefore depends on a wheelchair.

Lukas is a bright young man who is currently visiting the 4th grade of the middle school. Despite his health challenges, he has clear goals in mind: he wants to attend the higher technical school (HTL) for mechanical engineering and thus build up a good future. In order to enable him to have a barrier -free home, extensive renovation work in the family house is necessary.

donation for the conversion

The ÖVP women have decided to support the Lehninger family with a donation of 1,000 euros in order to reduce the financial burdens of the necessary renovation. This support comes at a particularly suitable time when the family is currently fighting with the challenges that such a disease brings. The conversion is not just a structural measure; It is a step towards independence and more quality of life for Lukas.

This initiative shows solidarity and social engagement within the community in Marz. The ÖVP women help to live Lukas in an environment that meets his needs and offers him the same opportunities as his peers. The voluntary commitment and financial support are a strong sign of how important it is to be there for each other in difficult times.

The fact that Lukas has big plans despite his restrictions speaks for his courage and his will to make the best of his situation. Hopefully the help of the ÖVP women will help him to realize his dreams and to shape a positive future. Other people in the community are also invited to participate in initiatives such as this in order to help those in need and to strengthen the community.
