A total of around 60 stalls open daily from 10 a.m., which offer products from the Viennese trade and craft. opening ceremony and events

The ceremonial opening of the Kirtag was initiated by Mayor Michael Ludwig (SPÖ) and prison pastor Toni Faber, accompanied by an impressive appearance of Burgenland military music. The Kirtag not only offers stands and delicacies, but also a rich musical program. Brass music concerts of various orchestras take place every day, which contribute to the festive atmosphere.

Another highlight of the Kirtag takes place on May 31, when the Verdi request is listed in St. Stephen's Cathedral to commemorate the end of the Second World War. Under the direction of Markus Landerer, the cathedral choir, the cathedral orchestra and the Palestrina motet choir from Tegernsee will musically inspire visitors. In addition, Provost Klaus Sonnleitner heads a Marien devotion with light procession.

religious rituals and community events

The Kirtag is also a room for spiritual experiences. Masses to the Ascension of Christ and Pentecost are led by Josef Grünwidl, while the central Sunday service and the large dioces of cathedral by DomPropst Ernst Pucher are designed. On Whit Monday, the high office is celebrated by Michael Landau.

On June 3, the long night of the Bible takes place in the cathedral, which is invited to celebrate faith in a special framework. The Steffl-Kirtag not only contributes to the musical and culinary diversity, but also combines faith, music and community in an impressive way.

The care of customs and tradition, as it is expressed at the Stefffl Charterag, is a central aspect of Austrian culture. These traditions not only strengthen social bonds, but also promote awareness of local flora and fauna, such as "https://www.austria.info/de/actitaeten/stadt-und-und-und-und-tradition/ Utraumtumfeste-in-oesterreich"> Austria.info . Festures like the Steffl Charle Conference are therefore not only a festival of joy, but also a sign of respect for nature and regional customs.
