The thyroid gland plays a crucial role in the human body and estimates that every third adult affects at least once in his life. Szodl pointed out that patients with underfunction should definitely take their medication 30 minutes before breakfast. In the case of overfunction, it is advisable to avoid iodine -containing food and to inform doctors beforehand about studies that require contrast medium.
The lecture in Eisenstadt met with great interest and was considered a complete success. The event that contributes to improving general health competence will probably take up further health issues in the future.
