In Burgenland there are two innovative employment models in the nursing sector that benefit both caring relatives and prospective nurses. These models offer financial support and promote the quality of home care. They were introduced to cope with the challenges of care and at the same time create valuable jobs.
The employment model for caring relatives is aimed at family members or confidants who look after at least one person in need of care 3. This model has been impressive since its introduction in 2021 in Austria.
