Culture for everyone: Free entry thanks to the cultural pass in Austria!

The initiative "Hunger for Art and Culture" celebrates great success in promoting access to cultural events for financially disadvantaged people in Austria. According to OTS , cultural passport owners can take part in cultural events free of charge throughout Austria. This includes theater, concerts, cinemas and exhibitions. People like Thomas, who sits in a wheelchair, and the single mother Lin are convinced that cultural participation is a fundamental right that should be accessible to everyone. As the cultural pass owner Abbas says: "Art is food for the soul and the cultural passport nourishes everyone!"

23 new cultural partners have been added in Vienna this year, in Lower Austria there are seven new partners and also in Burgenland, cultural passports can now visit the cinema in Eisenstadt. On December 10th, on the occasion of the Human Rights Day, the initiative conducts an open office day in the House of Encounter in Innsbruck. In Styria, the Graz cultural institutions expect exciting insights and interactive programs to make the cultural offer accessible to everyone. Information about cultural events can be found daily on Hungeraufkunstundkultur.at

The aim of the initiative is to promote creative participation for all people and thus make a valuable contribution to society. With a free entry in 1267 institutions it is ensured that nobody is excluded from the cultural participation - an important step towards equal opportunities in art and culture.
