Digital crib in Eisenstadt: A new bright spot for Christmas time!

From December 5th to January 6th, the digital crib of the Eisenstadt diocese is installed in front of the Bischofshaus to convey the Christmas message in a contemporary way. The opening will take place on Thursday at 5 p.m. after an advent with Bishop Aegidius Zsifkovics. This oversized wooden crib will be accessible daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and the diocese hopes to reach people with this innovative presentation who may not come to church, like the kathpress reported.

The digital crib will tell the Christmas story in three parts: from Maria and Joseph's trip to Bethlehem, their arrival and the birth of Jesus. According to Anneliese Rothleitner-Reinisch, spokeswoman for the diocese, this crib is said to remember the St. Franz of Assisi, who also used up to date 800 years ago to spread his message. The video projection is created by diocesan angor Markus Heuduschits, while the wood structure comes from Gollubits. bvz.at emphasizes not only to offer a visual experience, but also to think about how God should stimulate in our everyday life is.

The digital crib is in the middle of festive Christmas lights and shows that the central message of Christmas, "God is with us", is visible everywhere. This is intended to encourage people to sharpen their eyes for divine in everyday life.
